A. DDW 2026 registration opened on Jan. 14, 2026, for AASLD, AGA, ASGE and SSAT members. Non-member registration opened on Jan. 21, 2026. Early bird pricing is available until Feb. 25, 2026.
Q2. What is included with DDW registration?
A. Registration rates are the same for in-person or online attendance. Here's what's included with each option:
In Person
- Credentials to attend more than 400 original scientific sessions and the ability to claim CME.
- Access to 2,800 posters in the Poster Hall and 300+ companies in the Exhibit Hall.
- Full access to the DDW Online platform — including 64 live streamed sessions and all 400 scientific sessions on demand, plus the ePosters site.
- In-person networking opportunities.
Online
- Four channels with 64 key scientific sessions (live streamed). All scientific sessions will also be available on demand 24 hours after each ends.
- Ability to claim CME for designated sessions.
- Access to all full-text abstracts and complete posters on the ePosters site. Interact with select authors in virtual meeting rooms to ask questions in real time.

Q3. How do I book my hotel room?
A. DDW offers discounted rates at a variety of top hotels near McCormick Place in Chicago, all within a short distance of the convention center. To book, go to the official housing portal, select “Housing/Group Housing,” and click on a hotel to start your reservation.
Q4. What is the abstract submission deadline?
A. General abstract submissions are accepted from Thursday, Oct. 23, 2025, at 09:00 Eastern time (UTC-4) through Thursday, Dec. 4, 2025, at 21:00 Eastern time (UTC-5).
Late-Breaking Abstract submissions are accepted from Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2026, at 09:00 Eastern time (UTC-4) through Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at 17:00 Eastern time (UTC-4).
Q5. What are the show dates, hours, and location?
A. DDW 2026 will take place May 2–5, 2026, at McCormick Place in Chicago, IL, and online.
